The composer is Duncan Sheik, you may remember him from pop hit "Barely Beathing". Him and the other guy who wrote the show met at some Buddhist class after they meditated. Tell me you don't love that. 2. The show is based on a German book from like 1890 dealing with teenagers and puberty. A bare breast is exposed and Broadway is freaking out which officially makes this show "provocative" 3. It is the first actual original work on Broadway NOT based on a movie or a collection of songs from ABBA or The Four Seasons in a really long time. Original work should be applauded.
