I’m a bad mommy!
Published January 24th, 2007 in Doggies, Woah!.I had a landmark day yesterday as bad dog-mom. I gave Emmet a terrible haircut. I trim his nose hair curl because it gets in his eyes and I was told it could scratch his eyes and damage them. So this time I got out Daniel’s electric hair trimmer. Emmet was amazingly calm considering this buzzing machine in his face.
My crucial mistake was forgetting to put the plastic guard on the hair trimmer. As a result I had less control over how short the hair was cut. So since his skin is dark on his face, my dog looks like he’s got a black eye.
At least it’s not picture day, which is what happened to my brother.
Emmet is clearly mortified.
He told me he forgives you. It actually makes him look kinda tough!
