I reserve getting into the holiday spirit for December 6thish or so and onward (post St. Nicholas Day), and then - as you know - it's full on baking. So that means I'm not tired of the holidays come Jan. 2, not like some people who put up their decorations before Halloween. Except maybe the songs. I'm not wild about Jingle Bells past Dec. 26th. Worst of all, I think I hate getting back to real work, and leaving behind an excuse to shove baked experiments on people. I hate post-Christmas blues, too. I reserve getting into the holiday spirit for December 6thish or so and onward (post St. Nicholas Day), and then - as you know - it’s full on baking. So that means I’m not tired of the holidays come Jan. 2, not like some people who put up their decorations before Halloween.
