Damn, not again.
Published January 8th, 2007 in Calamity!.Well, I just heard from another college friend who’s marriage is breaking up. That’s three now, no, actually four. What the hell? I mean, in this case, and one other, I had an instant violent revulsion to the guy. He did once make shit out of me for using notepad to edit html. But that’s me, not her and I just feel terrible for my friends.
I have two friends whose marriages are disintegrating. I keep wondering which two will separate first. It’s like this awful race they aren’t even aware of. Yet that makes it saound quick, and in fact, both of these marriages have been on the rocks forever, so long that at times I wonder if either couple will actually ever break up, or if they will all just be utterly miserable forever.
